JMM 2021

How To Register

General Information: The 2021 Virtual JMM will be a somewhat scaled-back version of the traditional meeting. It will remain devoted to mathematics research, teaching, advancement, and achievement, as well as time for conversation with friends and colleagues.

Register Now: Registration for this meeting is open through January 9, 2021, 1:00 pm MST. Everyone will need to individually register for the meeting to access the 2021 Virtual JMM Platform. Unfortunately, group registrations will not be possible. If you are an organizer or a speaker, you will need to be registered for the meeting 24 hours prior to the day your session or talk is scheduled. The email address and password that was used to register for the meeting will also be used to sign onto the platform. All participants will have access to all sessions and talks, the AMS and MAA Book Sales, the JMM Exhibits, networking opportunities, and other offerings.

If you are planning to register someone else, verify that that person has an AMS web account. If they do not have a web account, please have them go to "Register for a Web Account", or email AMS Customer Service to create one. You do not have to be a member to have an AMS web account. It is also possible that an AMS member does not have a web account, if they have never shopped at our bookstore, or registered online for a meeting. Ask for the email address associated with their web account, and use this to register them. When you click on the registration form, choose "Register Someone Else". Please first login with your personal AMS web account. If you do not have one, please create one. Enter the email address associated with your account, and then your password. If will ask you if you want to register someone else, or yourself. Click “someone else,” and enter the email address belonging to the person’s web account. Click on the green box that says “Check.” Choose the person, and continue the registration. Note that you can test a login to an AMS web account.

You may register for the meeting using VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. All charges to credit cards will be made in U.S. funds. Unfortunately, checks cannot be accepted for payment. Registration acknowledgments will be sent by email to the email addresses provided. See registration fees and categories here.

The deadline for mathematics departments and programs to reserve display space at the Virtual Grad School Fair is December 7, 2020, midnight, EST.

Note that there is a separate registration form for the AMS Short Course. More details about this course are posted on the Short Course page. The deadline for registering for this course is January 1, 2021. Note: Registration for this meeting is open through January 9, 2021, 1:00 pm MST.

Anyone who cancels their registration for the AMS Short Course by January 2, 2021, 5:00 p.m. EST, will be eligible to receive a 50% refund of fees paid.
