Airline
The official airline for this meeting is Delta. Participants are encouraged to book their flights for the meeting, if possible, with Delta and receive special pricing on scheduled service to Seattle. Discounts are applicable to US and Canada originating passengers. This discount is not valid with other discounts, certificates, coupons, or promotional offers.
To make a reservation, go here, select “Book Your Flight” and enter the Meeting Code NMUYN. Reservations can also be made by calling Delta Meeting Network Reservations at 1-800-328-1111 and citing the meeting code. A direct ticketing charge will apply for booking by phone.
Airport
The principal airport is the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA, frequently referred to as Sea-Tac) and it is served by all major airlines. It is located at 17801 International Boulevard, Seatac, WA, 98158, approximately twelve miles from downtown Seattle.
The airport has a program called Spot Saver, where a passenger who is departing from the Sea-Tac airport can make reservations for the TSA line in advance. Reservations can be made here. Reservations and walk-in appointments are available from 4:00 am to noon at TSA checkpoints 2 and 5.
Driving Directions
From Airport to the Center: The Washington State Convention Center (WSCC) is located at 705 Pike Street, Seattle, WA. Take WA-518 E toward I-5/I-405 Seattle/Tacoma. Use the left lane to merge onto I-5 N. Take Exit 165, Seneca Street, on the left. Turn right onto Sixth Avenue. Turn right onto Pike Street. This trip takes approximately 25 minutes, depending on traffic.
From Airport to the Sheraton Grand Seattle: The Sheraton is located at 1400 Sixth Avenue, Seattle, WA, 98101. From the car rental facility, take WA-518 E toward I-5/I-405 Seattle/Tacoma. Merge onto I-5 N via the exit on the left toward Seattle. Take Exit 165, Seneca Street, on the left. Turn right onto Sixth Avenue. This trip takes approximately 25 minutes, depending on traffic.
Ground Transportation
Car Rental: All major rental car companies have offices at the airport. There is a separate rental car facility that operates on a 24-hour-a-day schedule. Two passenger pick-up areas are located outside baggage claim at the north and south ends of the main terminal. Proceed to the baggage claim level and pick up your checked bags. Exit the sliding glass doors and walk to one of the two designated shuttle bus pick-up areas for transportation to the rental car facility. The address of the rental car facility for your return drop-off is 3150 S. 160th Street, SeaTac, WA 98188.
Lyft, Uber, Wingz (App-based ride shares): The app-based rideshare pickup area is located on the 3rd floor of the parking garage in rows G through J in the orange and purple sections of the garage. Passengers should go across the skybridges, located at a level below ticketing and a level above baggage claim, and go down one level to the 3rd floor.
Taxi: Taxi pickup is located on the 3rd floor of the parking garage. The cost of one-way rides between the airport and downtown hotels ranges from US\$40 - US\$55. Seattle Sound Transit Link Light Rail: The SeaTac/Airport Station is connected to the fourth floor of the airport parking garage by a covered walkway. Wheelchair service is available. Take the train at the SeaTac/Airport station and go to the Westlake Station. Westlake Station has exits at 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue and Pine Street. To go to the Sheraton Seattle from Westlake Station, go 1 - 2 blocks east on Pine Street, and 1 ½ blocks south on Sixth Avenue.
Trains run every 8 – 15 minutes from 5:00 am to 11:49 pm on weekdays, and every 15 minutes on Saturdays. On Sunday, the trains run from 6:00 am to 11:19 pm. One-way fare is currently US\$2.75. This trip takes approximately 40 minutes. The schedule and more information can be found here.
Parking
The Washington State Convention Center operates two parking garages: the WSCC Main garage and the Freeway Park Garage. The entrance to the WSCC Garage is on 8th Avenue between Pike and Seneca Streets and is open daily between 5:30 a.m. and 8:00 pm. The entrance to the Freeway Park Garage is located on Hubbell Place between Pike and Seneca. It is open Monday–Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Directions to the parking garages and rates are located here.
Public Transit
Light Rail: The Seattle Sound Transit Link Light Rail runs from the University of Washington to Angle Lake, making 14 stops along the way, including the Sea-Tac Airport, and several stops downtown. Fares currently range from US\$2.25 to US\$3.25, and are paid using ORCA cards, a transit pass that can be used on streetcars, buses, and light rail, but not on the ferries.
Bus: King County Metro Transit provides bus service in downtown Seattle and outlying neighborhoods. Schedules and route maps are available at the Transit Information Center in the tunnel under Westlake Center at 4th Avenue & Pine Street, and on the website. Download the mobile app for on-the-go transit information. Fares currently range from US\$2.75 to US\$3.25 and can be paid with ORCA cards, cash (exact fare only), or Transit-GO tickets, which are used with a mobile app.
Monorail: The Seattle Center Monorail travels between the Westlake Center station on 5th Avenue and Pine, and Seattle Center, home to the Space Needle, the Pacific Science Center and other attractions. The monorail departs approximately every 10 minutes from each of the two stations. The Monorail accepts ORCA cards and credit and debit cards. Fares are currently US\$3.00 for an adult, US\$1.50 for youths aged 6-18 yrs. old and for seniors 65+ yrs. old, disabled persons with Medicare cards, and U.S. Military with ID. Children 5 and under are free. All fares are one-way.
Trains
Seattle’s King Street Station is located just south of downtown at 303 S Jackson St, Seattle, WA 98104. Details about the commuter train, Sound Transit’s Sounder, can be found here. Amtrak has three routes that connect with the King Street Station. Details and schedules can be found here.
