For each invalid check
or credit card transaction that results in an insufficient payment
for registration or housing, a $5 charge will be assessed.
Participants should check with their tax preparers for applicable
deductions for education expenses as they pertain to these meetings.
If you do not wish to
be included in any mailing list used for promotional purposes, please
indicate this in the appropriate box on the registration
form.
The Joint Meetings Registration
Desk (JMRD), will be located in Exhibit Hall B, San Diego Convention
Center. Hours of operation will be: January 5: 3:00 pm
- 7:00 pm, January 6,7,8: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, and January
9: 7:30 am - 2:00 pm.
Tickets will be sold
onsite only for the AMS Banquet. They will be sold until the close
of registration on Tuesday, January 8. Please check at the
JMRD.
The MMSB can no longer
take hotel reservations. Participants
are welcomed to call hotels directly after December 12 with
requests for new reservations and cancellations or changes on confirmed
reservations. We encourage you to ask for the Joint Mathematics
Meetings convention rates when calling. Based on availability, the
hotels should still offer those rates.
