For your convenience, the American Mathematical
Society and the Mathematical Association of America will again be
offering childcare services to registrants at the Joint Mathematics
Meetings in Washington, DC. The American Mathematical Society and
the Mathematical Association of America make this program available
and affordable by subsidizing this service and paying most of the
cost. You will have the opportunity to leave
your child(ren) with professionals who are solely dedicated to making
them safe and happy. Attend sessions with peace of mind knowing
your child(ren) are having fun with other children in a safe environment
provided by one of the most successful children programs in the

Who is KiddieCorp?
KiddieCorp is an organization that has been providing
high quality programs to children of all ages at conventions, trade
shows, and corporate events throughout the United States and Canada
since 1986. It has enjoyed a long-time partnership with the American
Academy of Pediatrics, which has helped to establish KiddieCorp
as a premier provider of event children's program services. Read

Commitment
KiddieCorp's goal is to provide your children with
a comfortable, safe and happy experience. Their staff to child ratios
are high to ensure that every child feels special (1:2 infants;
1:3 toddlers; 1:5 school age). KiddieCorp team members are selected
according to their integrity, experience, education and enthusiasm.
They must be wonderful with kids! You will feel secure knowing that
the KiddieCorp team is bonded and that they carry ample liability
insurance.
Activities
All activity planning is based around the program
hours and ages of children. Activities include exciting themes,
arts & crafts, group games, music & movement, board games,
story time, dramatic play, etc. KiddieCorp provides activities appropriate
for each age group, using safe, sturdy equipment that you can feel
comfortable with. Children can make their own choices with KiddieCorp's
program.
Where, When, For Whom
This program is for children ages 6 months through
12 years old. Space per day will be limited. The dates of
the meeting are Monday - Thursday, January 5 - 8, 2009. The dates
and times for the program are January 5 - 8, 2009, 8:00 a.m.
to 5:00 p.m. each day. It will be located at the Marriott
Wardman Park Hotel. If you would like to know how many children
will be in the same age group as your child's, please call KiddieCorp
AFTER registration starts.
Parents are encouraged to bring snacks and beverages
for their children but items such as juice boxes, cheerios, and
crackers will be provided. KiddieCorp can arrange meals for children
at cost plus 15% or parents can be responsible for meals for their
children. Parents who have questions about specific programs
that will be offered or specific requests, rules, or needs for their
children must call KiddieCorp ahead of time.
Cost and Registration
The registration fee is $30 per family (nonrefundable).
Additional cost will be $10 per hour per child or $8 per hour per
child for graduate students. Parents must

These reduced child care rates are made possible to
the meeting participant by the American Mathematical Society and
the Mathematical Association of America who subsidize this service
and pay most of the cost making this program affordable.
If parents do not pick up their children on time as
scheduled or at the end of the day if scheduled (no later than 5:00
pm), they will be charged a late fee of $5.00 per child for
every 15 minutes thereafter.
