Minor Attendance Policy

To maintain a professional and safe environment, individuals under the age of 18 ("Minors") may not attend the meeting unless accompanied at all times by an adult. An Accompanying Adult must be a parent, legal guardian, or designated chaperone who is at least 18 years old. The Accompanying Adult must register for the meeting, and if not registering scientifically, pay the appropriate guest registration fee. By registering, the Accompanying Adult agrees to:

  • Remain with the Minor at all times during the event
  • Supervise the Minor’s activities and behavior
  • Ensure the Minor follows all meeting rules, policies, and guidelines

Meeting organizers reserve the right to deny entry or revoke access to any Minor who is unaccompanied, or whose Accompanying Adult fails to comply with this policy. No exceptions will be made. For questions about this policy, please contact the Mathematics Meetings Service Bureau.
