It is strongly recommended that for any event requiring
a ticket, tickets should be purchased through advance registration.
Only a very limited number of tickets, if any, will be available
for sale on site. If you must cancel your participation in a ticketed
event, you may request a 50% refund by returning your ticket(s)
to the Mathematics Meetings Service Bureau (MMSB) by January
2. After that date no refunds can be made. Special meals are
available at banquets upon advance request, but this must be indicated
on the Advance
Registration/Housing Form.
AMS Banquet: As a fitting culmination to
the meetings, the AMS banquet provides an excellent opportunity
to socialize with fellow participants in a relaxed atmosphere.
The participant who has been a member of the Society for the greatest
number of years will be recognized and will receive a special
award. The banquet will be held on Sunday, with a cash bar reception
at 6:30 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are US$46, including
tax and gratuity; in the Marriott Rivercenter, Grand Ballroom
Salons H & I.
