Exhibit Hours and Location

All participants are encouraged to visit the exhibits on Wednesday (starting with the Grand Opening) 12:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., on Thursday and Friday 9:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and on Saturday 9:00 a.m.-noon. Location is Hall B, San Diego Convention Center.

  • Booth rental prices range from US\$492 for first-time exhibitors to US\$2,125 for prime corner spaces. There is a wide variety of selections available---priced to fit all budgets.
  • Exhibit spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served, with priority given to sponsors.
  • Companies who cannot exhibit in person can still participate via the Joint Books Display.

Sponsorships

The contract for sponsorships and the complete description of each one are located here.

  • Platinum sponsorships (US\$10,000 each) are available for the Wi-Fi Hotspots, Mobile App, Relaxation Center, Digital Signage, and E-Mail Center.
  • Gold sponsorships (US\$5,000 each) are available for the Meeting Daily Newsletter, Hotel Room Keys, Tote Bags, and Badge Lanyards.
  • Silver sponsorships (US\$3,500 each) are available for the Mathematical Art Exhibition, Grad Student/First Timers Reception, Coffee Station, Coffee Sleeves, Aisle Signs, and Directional Footprints.
  • Bronze sponsorships (US\$2,500 each) are available for the Note pads and Pens.

Advertising

The contract for advertising and a complete list of advertising opportunities, prices, deadlines, and specifications are located here.

  • The JMM App – Exhibitors can purchase banner ads, push notifications, and company webpage links - prices ranging from US\$200 - US\$2,000.
  • Program booklet – Exhibitors can place ads in the program booklet, starting at US\$712 for a quarter page ad.
  • Registration Packet – Exhibitors can place a promotional flyer in the registration packets for US\$711 per flyer.
  • JointMeetingNews – Exhibitors can place ads in the daily newsletter, starting at US\$65 per ad per day. Announcements in the newsletter start at US\$1 per word.
  • Mailing Lists – Exhibitors can purchase pre-meeting and/or post-meeting mailing lists for US\$400 per list.

AMS Book Sales and Membership

The American Mathematical Society booth in the Exhibit Hall is the place to go for information on our publications, programs, and membership. Join the AMS or renew your membership onsite to receive a complimentary gift and take advantage of your meeting discount on books. AMS members get 40% off the list price of most AMS titles and on those of the MAA Press, which is now an imprint of the AMS. Stop by our member photo area, where a photographer will take professional portraits that will be available electronically within minutes. If you join the AMS or renew your membership during the meeting, you will receive a complimentary gift and will be able to start using your member discount on AMS titles right away. Make sure to ask about our new membership benefit, free shipping on all purchases, not just at meetings but also on orders placed online, phoned in, faxed, or sent via postal mail.

Attendees are invited to the booth to see the unveiling of the AMS’s new logo. While you’re there, take advantage of the special exhibit discounts that will be offered on most AMS titles, 40% off list price for members and 25% off for all other attendees. All orders that are purchased on-site are eligible for free shipping.

MAA Book Sales and Membership

Join fellow mathematicians in the exhibit hall at the Mathematical Association of America Pavilion, Booth 120.  Take a break in our lounge, find your dream job with the MAA Career Resource Center, talk to staff about programs and resources for your research and classroom, renew your membership, and learn how MAA Advances the understanding of mathematics and its impact on our world.

Mathematical Art Exhibit

This exhibit is organized by Robert Fathauer, Tessellations Company; Nathan Selikoff, Digital Awakening Studios; and Elizabeth Whiteley, studio artist, Washington, DC, and supported by the Special Interest Group of the MAA for Mathematics and the Arts, and the Bridges Organization. A popular feature at the Joint Mathematics Meetings, this exhibition provides a break in your day. On display are works in various media by artists who are inspired by mathematics and by mathematicians who use visual art to express their findings. Topology, fractals, polyhedra, and tiling are some of the ideas at play here. Do not miss this unique opportunity for a different perspective on mathematics. The exhibition will be located inside the Joint Mathematics Exhibits and will be open during the same hours as them. Submissions for this exhibit are are now closed.
